Our Principal
Gladys Camp, Ed.D. has been principal of Thomson Elementary since 2001. She received a B.S. from Morgan State University in Maryland, an M.A. from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and an Ed.D. from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Dr. Camp was named The Washington Post's 2006 Distinguished Principal of the Year for the District of Columbia. She was also named the National Association of Elementary School Principals' 2007 National Distinguished Principal for the District of Columbia.
